Subscription Terms

WebCraft LLC · Effective date: July 20, 2026 · Last updated: July 20, 2026

The short version: your plan is what keeps your site live, watched, and current — these are the exact terms behind that promise.

On this page

These Subscription Terms govern the monthly maintenance plans under which WebCraft LLC ("WebCraft") hosts, maintains, and supports Client websites. They are part of the Contract Documents under the Master Services Agreement between WebCraft and each client ("Client," and with WebCraft, the "Parties"; the "Agreement"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Agreement. Client's plan election is made in a Statement of Work or subsequent written election.

1. The Subscription Is What Keeps the Website Live

Client's website is built, hosted, and operated on WebCraft's managed infrastructure (Agreement §1.3, §6). An active subscription at the Essentials level or above is required for the website to remain live. The subscription is not an optional add-on; it is the operating relationship. Cancellation or termination triggers the offboarding process in Agreement §5.4.

2. The Plans

Every plan includes the platform foundation: hosting, SSL/HTTPS, automated backups, security patching, uptime monitoring, automated health checks, and WebCraft's automated systems watching the website around the clock. The plans differ in what WebCraft actively does for Client each month.

2.1 Essentials — $59/month — kept alive

  • The platform foundation above.
  • Bug fixes: if something WebCraft built stops working as delivered, WebCraft fixes it at no charge.
  • Support via the standard queue.
  • No included content work. Any change Client wants made — content, text, images, or otherwise — is quoted and billed as a separate request or Enhancement. (If Client's website was built with self-service edit tooling per its SOW, Client may use that tooling on any plan.)

2.2 Care — $99/month — kept current

Everything in Essentials, plus:

  • Minor Updates, handled — without per-update charges (see Section 3 for the definition and fair-use terms). Client sends the change; WebCraft makes it.
  • Basic monthly performance report.
  • Faster support-queue escalation.

2.3 Growth — $299/month — kept growing

Everything in Care, plus:

  • Advanced monthly reporting with insights.
  • SEO keyword tracking.
  • Proactive improvement suggestions drawn from the website's actual data — WebCraft identifies opportunities and proposes them; implementation is included where it qualifies as a Minor Update, and quoted as an Enhancement where it goes beyond.
  • Quarterly strategy call.
  • Priority support-queue escalation.

2.4 Partner — custom pricing — bespoke

A negotiated relationship for complex or high-value platforms: scope, reporting, response expectations, included work, and pricing are set in a Partner addendum signed by both Parties. Where the addendum is silent, these Subscription Terms apply.

3. Minor Updates — Definition and Fair Use

3.1 Definition. A "Minor Update" is a change to the website's existing content or presentation that does not add new functionality, including: editing text; swapping or adding images to existing sections; updating menus, hours, prices, team members, or similar business information; adding items to existing structures (e.g., a new dish on an existing menu, a new post on an existing blog); and small styling adjustments to existing elements.

3.2 Not a Minor Update. New pages; new features or functionality; new integrations; redesigns of existing pages or sections; new content structures (e.g., adding a blog where none exists); e-commerce catalog builds or migrations; and anything requiring new construction rather than content change. These are Enhancements (Agreement §2.3), quoted and billed separately on every plan.

3.3 How requests work. Client submits Minor Update requests through WebCraft's support channels. Requests are worked in queue order (Section 5). WebCraft may batch multiple small requests received close together.

3.4 Fair use. Minor Updates on Care and Growth are intended to cover the ordinary change cadence of a small business's website, without counting individual updates. If Client's request volume substantially and persistently exceeds ordinary business use — such that it functions as continuous production work rather than upkeep — WebCraft will notify Client and the Parties will in good faith adjust the plan (typically a tier change or a Partner addendum). WebCraft will not throttle or bill excess usage without notice and that conversation first.

3.5 Classification. WebCraft classifies requests as Minor Updates or Enhancements in good faith per this Section 3 and will explain the classification on request. A bug — something WebCraft built not working as delivered — is never billed on any plan.

4. Billing, Non-Payment, and Termination for Non-Payment

4.1 Billing. Plans bill monthly in advance by automatic payment (processed by Stripe). The first month is billed at launch (pro-rated where applicable).

4.2 Failed payment — the 30-day live window. If a payment fails, WebCraft will notify Client promptly and will make multiple further attempts to reach Client and collect payment over the following thirty (30) days. The website stays fully live during this window, and security patching and uptime protection continue as normal while it is live. Bringing the account current at any point during the window ends the process with no interruption to the website.

4.3 Offline at 30 days. If the account remains unpaid thirty (30) days after the missed payment date, WebCraft may take the website offline and terminate the subscription. While the website is offline, WebCraft has no obligation to monitor, maintain, patch, support, or host it in any active sense; WebCraft preserves the website, Client Content, and Client Data intact in storage until the deletion date in Section 4.4.

4.4 Deletion at 90 days. If the account is not brought fully current, WebCraft may permanently delete the website, Client Content, and Client Data ninety (90) days after the missed payment date. Before deletion, Client may request an export of Client Content and Client Data, delivered per Agreement §5.4(c). For terminations under this Section 4, this 90-day window measured from the missed payment date replaces the retrieval window in Agreement §5.4(d) (these Subscription Terms control per Agreement §1.2).

4.5 Reinstatement. If Client brings the account fully current before deletion occurs, WebCraft will restore the website promptly. The past-due balance must be paid in full; no separate reinstatement fee applies unless stated in Client's SOW or Partner addendum.

5. Support and Queue Priority

5.1 Channels. Support requests are submitted through WebCraft's support channels (support ticket where available, or email). Detailed requests resolve faster.

5.2 Queue priority. Non-critical requests (Minor Updates, questions, cosmetic issues) are worked in queue order by plan tier: Partner, then Growth, then Care, then Essentials.

5.3 Security and outages are tier-independent. Security vulnerabilities and site-down incidents are treated with the same urgency on every plan and jump every queue. Queue priority applies to responsiveness on non-critical work — never to safety.

5.4 Response times are goals, not guarantees. WebCraft works to respond quickly and communicates openly, but response and resolution times are service goals and may vary with circumstances, including request complexity, volume, third-party outages, and events beyond WebCraft's reasonable control (Agreement §9.4, §13.2). Published or advertised response times are aspirational descriptions, not contractual commitments.

6. Usage Thresholds

Each plan includes email-delivery and infrastructure usage appropriate to a typical small-business website at that tier (Essentials: low; Care: moderate; Growth: high; Partner: negotiated). If Client's sustained usage (for example, transactional email volume or hosting/database consumption) materially exceeds the plan's included level, WebCraft will notify Client and the Parties will adjust the plan — a tier change or a metered line item — before additional charges apply. WebCraft never silently bills overages.

7. Plan Changes and Cancellation

7.1 Upgrades take effect immediately, with the price difference pro-rated for the current cycle.

7.2 Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. A downgrade below Essentials is a cancellation.

7.3 Cancellation. Client may cancel with 30 days' written notice. The website remains live through the end of the final paid period; offboarding then proceeds under Agreement §5.4 (domain released to Client immediately; Client Content and Client Data exportable on request for 90 days; code and infrastructure remain WebCraft's).

8. Pricing Stability

8.1 12-month price lock. Client's plan price is locked for twelve (12) months from signup.

8.2 Renewal adjustments. After the lock, WebCraft may adjust plan pricing with at least 30 days' written notice, effective at Client's next billing cycle after the notice period. Existing clients are never re-priced mid-lock; new pricing reaches existing clients only at renewal.

9. Referral Program

9.1 The reward. When a business referred by Client signs with WebCraft and completes its first paid month of subscription, Client earns, at Client's choice:

  • One month of Client's own current plan, free (applied as a credit to the next billing cycle), or
  • A $100 credit toward any Enhancement, applied against the Enhancement's standard quoted price.

9.2 Mechanics. One reward per referred business. The referred business must identify Client as the referrer at or before signing. Credits are non-transferable, expire twelve (12) months after issuance, and have no cash value. Rewards apply to the referrer's account only. WebCraft never discloses any client's plan, pricing, or account details to any other client — including between referrer and referred.

9.3 Changes. WebCraft may modify or end the referral program prospectively with notice; earned rewards are honored.

10. White-Label Option (Site Credit Removal)

Every WebCraft-built website displays a discreet "Built by WebCraft" credit (Agreement §6.5). Client may add the White-Label Option to any plan for $29/month: while the option is active, the website is presented entirely under Client's brand, with no builder credit. The option bills with the plan, may be added or removed at any billing cycle, and the credit returns if the option ends. Partner addenda may modify or include this option.

11. Changes to These Terms

WebCraft may update these Subscription Terms with at least 30 days' written notice to subscribed clients. Changes apply from the next billing cycle after the notice period. If a change materially reduces the plan's included services, Client may cancel without the Section 7.3 notice period before the change takes effect. The Agreement's order of precedence (Agreement §1.2) applies.
